Backlane connects a marketplace seller's accounts to an AI assistant through the Model Context Protocol. The seller can ask about listings, orders, stock, and advertising using the marketplace data behind the answer. The service includes setup instructions and a prompt library for common tasks. Its integrations cover OTTO Market, Kaufland, and marketplaces that use Mirakl. During the open beta, sellers can register and connect their accounts to a supported client such as Claude or ChatGPT.
