BaoCut

AI video editing with an editable timeline, subtitles, and dubbing

Meet BaoCut

BaoCut is a desktop video editor for macOS and Windows that lets an AI agent work on an editable timeline. Start with footage, a written brief, or a template, then ask it to transcribe speech, add bilingual subtitles, translate dialogue, create voice-overs, or trim pauses and retakes. Captions, audio, motion graphics, and clips remain available for manual adjustments, with a shared undo history for human and agent edits.

The app connects to agent engines such as Claude Code and Codex CLI, while media tasks can use local models or configured online providers. Users can export MP4 videos, subtitle files, transcripts, and audio, or move an editable project between machines in a portable bundle. Agent features require a connected engine, and media processing requires FFmpeg. BaoCut is source-available under its Community License.
