BooBar
Track coding agents and everyday Mac controls in a desktop island
Meet BooBar
BooBar creates a compact desktop island for Mac status information and quick controls. It displays Codex and Claude Code sessions with recent output, progress, and usage information, and provides a place to respond to agent approval requests. The panel can dock at the top or side of the screen.
A shortcut opens a tool wheel containing context-linked sticky notes, clipboard history, and developer utilities. Other panels show music controls, calendars, reminders, GitHub activity, system statistics, and a focus timer. A small animated frog reflects states such as work in progress or a request needing attention. BooBar supports Apple Silicon and Intel Macs running macOS 14 or later, with a trial before purchasing a license.
