Host persistent AI agents in individual virtual machines.
Persistent Linux machines for running AI-generated code and applications.

Buddy Sandboxes provides persistent Linux virtual machines for running code, testing applications, and supporting AI agents. A sandbox includes its own disk, root permissions, SSH access, and public endpoints. Developers can install packages, run Docker, start long-lived processes, and return later without rebuilding the environment from scratch.
Sandboxes can be controlled through a command-line tool, TypeScript SDK, REST API, or MCP client. An agent can create a machine, copy project files, run tests, expose an application, and inspect separate command, application, and request logs. Snapshots prepare reusable starting states, while automatic idle shutdown and restart help manage machines that are only needed intermittently.
