Cleo is a conversational financial assistant that uses connected account information to discuss spending and goals. Supported accounts connect through Plaid, giving the app transaction context for its informal feedback and budgeting conversations. Users can examine spending patterns and set goals within the same experience.

Savings tools include automatic contributions and goal tracking, while Autopilot automates configured parts of a money plan. Products such as the Cleo Card have separate eligibility and terms. The assistant's conversation draws on the account record, so a user can discuss a particular spending pattern and review the related information before changing their plan.
