Meet Cntrl Bridge
Cntrl Bridge is a lightweight desktop agent that exposes computer controls and system information through an API. Installed on Windows or macOS, it lets other devices on a local network monitor CPU, memory, disk, and network activity, manage media playback, and trigger power actions such as sleep or restart.
API key authentication and IP allow or block lists help control access. WebSocket connections provide live updates and two-way communication, while a React SDK supplies typed hooks for building interfaces. Developers can use Cntrl Bridge to connect a computer to a personal dashboard, a home automation setup, or a custom control panel without building the desktop integration from scratch.
