Manage data pipelines as code with reusable open-source connectors
Build local data pipelines with TypeScript, SQL, and DuckDB

croft is a command-line tool for building local data pipelines around a DuckDB file. It ingests information from APIs and files, transforms it with SQL or TypeScript, and keeps tables current on a schedule. A project defines its assets and checks, while the tool manages runs, dependencies, incremental work, and the state needed to avoid repeating finished operations.
Developers install it with Bun and initialize a project, then add sources and transformations. A read server lets an application use the resulting data. Built-in documentation is available offline and is structured for both people and coding agents. Confirmation, trash, restore, and backup commands help users inspect changes and recover from destructive operations.
