Day One is a digital journal for keeping written entries alongside the images and sounds of everyday life. Add a short note, a photo sequence, a video, or an audio recording, then revisit earlier entries through features such as On This Day. Apps for phones, tablets, Mac, and Apple Watch, plus browser access, give you several places to add to the record. Passcodes and supported biometric controls restrict access on a device, while end-to-end encryption and backups protect the stored journal. Export tools let you take the entries out of the app when you want a separate copy.
