Duolingo

Meet Duolingo

Duolingo builds language practice around short lessons you can return to regularly. Exercises mix reading, listening, writing, and speaking, with feedback as you work through a course. The lessons adapt to your progress, introducing material and revisiting concepts as you continue. Points, levels, and challenges give that practice a game-like structure, while reminders encourage another session. You might use it during a commute or a break to keep a language-learning routine going. The app's broader learning offering also includes subjects such as chess. Its language courses serve a different purpose from the separate Duolingo English Test assessment.
