Meet En-ROADS
En-ROADS models how climate policies and technology choices interact over time. Adjust the scenario and compare projected changes in temperature, energy consumption, extreme weather, health, or economic activity. The visual results connect several outcomes to the same assumptions rather than considering each choice in isolation.
Educators and facilitators use the simulator in lessons, workshops, and policy discussions. Guides and technical documentation explain the controls and model behind the graphs. A group can test one proposed change, add another, and discuss why the combined scenario behaves differently. The results are modeled possibilities to explore, with the assumptions remaining central to how the graphs should be interpreted.
