Meet JouleBug

JouleBug runs employee sustainability challenges through a mobile app. Organizations define a program or theme, and participants record everyday actions and share photographs with colleagues. Private communities, teams, points, and badges organize collaboration and competition around the selected activities.

Administrators customize challenges and review participation alongside estimates of carbon, water, and waste impacts. The recorded actions provide the inputs for those estimates. A sustainability team can run a defined campaign, see which activities employees join, and compare participation across the program. Colleagues use the same community to exchange ideas and follow what other team members have recorded during the challenge.
