Meet Hands Off

Hands Off is a desktop app that uses a webcam to help users notice repetitive habits while working at a computer. It detects movements associated with actions such as nail biting, skin picking, or hair pulling and displays an alert when those movements occur. Users can adjust detection settings for the habits they want to monitor.

The app includes progress statistics and runs on Mac and Windows. Its webcam analysis is processed locally on the device, without recording or uploading the video. Hands Off provides an awareness tool for moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed, giving users an opportunity to interrupt a habit during their normal desktop routine.
