Epilogue
Draft books with local files, story planning, and private reader feedback
Write and organize local documents in a flexible editor

hibi is a desktop writing app that combines document editing, previews, and organization with features familiar from code editors. It works with files in your own folders and supports Markdown, Typst, LaTeX, and other formats. Writers can keep drafts and research together, while technical users can prepare documentation or agent instructions.
The public beta includes wiki links, tags, a graph view, Git tools, Vim controls, export options, and a quick-note window. Existing Obsidian folders can be opened in place. Addons, themes, and keyboard shortcuts allow the workspace to grow around different writing habits. hibi is free and open source; its announced sync and publishing services are still forthcoming.
