Meet iFixit

iFixit provides repair instructions, replacement parts, and tools for working on devices and other belongings. Users search for a model or task and follow step-by-step guides written by the community. An Answers forum supports troubleshooting questions and discussion of particular faults.

Teardowns show how products are assembled and describe their repairability. The parts and tool catalog connects common repair tasks with the equipment needed for them. Coverage includes electronics and other items such as appliances, vehicles, clothing, and household objects. Contributors can add guides or answers for the repairs they know, expanding the material available for other people with the same item.
