Meet IINA
IINA is a free, open-source media player built for macOS on the mpv playback engine. Its interface uses familiar Mac controls, including trackpad gestures, system media keys, Picture in Picture, and Live Text. Controls and sidebars can be adjusted around the way you prefer to watch, so the same player can suit a compact playback window or a larger viewing setup. Plugins add community-built features such as subtitle sources, video utilities, and alternative interfaces. The project is maintained by contributors, with its source available under GPLv3, making it possible to inspect or extend the application as well as use the standard player.
