Meet Maya Tutor

Maya Tutor is a learning application that builds practice around what a child is studying. A topic can be introduced by speaking, typing, or photographing a notebook or workbook page. The tutor explains the material at an appropriate level, then asks questions with selectable answers so the learner can practise one step at a time. When an answer is wrong, Maya explains the reasoning behind the mistake instead of only asking for another attempt. Difficult topics can return in later sessions for further practice. Its lesson catalog covers school subjects such as mathematics, science, and English, with mobile applications for iPhone, iPad, and Android and an introductory lesson available free.
