MDLIVE connects patients with clinicians for virtual medical and mental health care. Its services cover urgent care, therapy and psychiatry, dermatology, and primary care through participating insurance plans. You create an account, check the services and coverage available to you, and request a visit by phone or video.

For certain urgent care concerns, E-Treatment uses a questionnaire instead of a live appointment. The service shows applicable visit charges and coverage details before care. Clinicians assess the concern and determine appropriate next steps; some conditions require an in-person examination. Location, insurance benefits and the type of visit affect which services you can use.
