Route hosted and self-managed AI models through one gateway
Route model requests with shared access controls and observability

ngrok AI Gateway routes requests to hosted model providers and self-hosted language models through a managed endpoint. Developers can use familiar SDKs, supply their own provider keys, and configure alternatives when a model or key encounters errors or rate limits. Provider credentials stay in the gateway instead of being distributed across applications.
Separate access keys let teams limit which models each application or developer can call. Observability brings token usage, latency, and errors together across routed requests, making it easier to understand usage beyond individual provider dashboards. The gateway also offers a management API for configuring providers and access. Dedicated inference is advertised separately as a forthcoming capability.
