Meet Open Comet

Open Comet is an open-source browser extension for research and everyday web tasks. It can summarize pages, extract information, compare products, and carry out workflows through reusable agent skills. Tasks run within a dedicated browser tab group, keeping their working context separate from unrelated tabs.

The extension includes local redaction before information is sent to an AI model and supports on-device models alongside cloud providers and Ollama. A task history and page-search tools help users return to earlier work or ask follow-up questions about a page.
