Meet WebBrain

WebBrain is an open-source browser extension for working with the content and controls of web pages. It can answer questions about an article or dashboard, extract structured information from pages and PDFs, and carry out browser tasks such as clicking, typing, and navigating. Read-only Ask mode is the default, with confirmation requested before consequential actions.

Users can connect an OpenAI-compatible cloud service or run a local model through tools such as Ollama or LM Studio. Keeping processing on the device depends on choosing local models. The extension provides a sidebar workspace and an MCP server for coding tools, with support for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge.
