Openroster helps readers investigate what a company means when it calls its software open. Browse companies by area, such as infrastructure, databases or machine learning, and follow the license information attached to a listing. The directory distinguishes projects that publish their source from businesses that simply use the word Open in their name. Someone comparing tools can also browse alternatives, search for a specific company or follow the launches digest to see which projects have appeared since their last visit. Companies can submit an entry for consideration.
