Run AI helpers with local models and your own files

Osaurus is a desktop environment for AI helpers that work with a user's files and retain memory on the computer. It supports local models, including its Raptor model, so supported work can continue offline. Users can also choose cloud models, which changes where model processing takes place.
Helpers operate within selected folders and request approval before changing files, with changes available to undo. Activity logs show what the system did, while an experimental privacy filter helps review information before sending it to a cloud service. The product is available for Mac, with Windows labeled beta. Model choice and computer resources determine the tasks and performance a setup can support.
