Meet Paperweight

Paperweight is a desktop app that examines email history to map a person's digital footprint. It identifies old accounts from sign-up messages, receipts, password resets, and other correspondence, then groups evidence about companies, mailing lists, and personal information. Processing takes place on the user's computer through a direct connection to an email provider with IMAP access.

Users can review forgotten services, compare noisy mailing lists, and prepare requests to remove personal data. Evidence and request templates remain available for review before an action is sent. Paperweight is open source and runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux, with free discovery tools and paid cleanup actions.
