Meet PeekPaste

PeekPaste keeps a local history of text, code, links, images, colors, and files copied on a Mac. Moving the pointer to a chosen screen edge opens the clipboard, with a configurable delay or keyboard shortcut available instead. Each item retains its source, and previews reflect the kind of content it contains.

On-device text recognition makes screenshots searchable by their contents. Users can pin frequent clips, organize categories, strip formatting, transform text, and drag items into other apps. Retention controls and app exclusions determine what gets saved. PeekPaste requires no account or sync server and is available as a one-time purchase after a free trial.
