Penta

Meet Penta

Penta turns an iPhone or iPad into a virtual five-disc CD changer for an Apple Music library. Listeners select albums, open their jewel cases, and place discs into a carousel before playing them, with album artwork, mechanical sounds, and tactile controls recreating the experience of a physical stereo. Owned albums can play without a subscription, while catalog streaming requires Apple Music. The app reads the library without changing its contents and supports different iPad orientations. It suits listeners who enjoy choosing complete albums and interacting with a familiar music player instead of moving through a conventional streaming interface.
