Recorder Hero

Meet Recorder Hero

Recorder Hero teaches people to play a real recorder using a browser and the instrument they already have. A lesson plays the note to aim for, shows the fingering and listens through the microphone as the learner tries it. With a camera, visual guides can indicate where the fingers should go. Someone who already knows a few notes can start with a short level check, while a beginner can follow the lessons in order. Songs and games give players a way to practice those fingerings in a musical phrase.
