Search a local text memory of what you saw on your Mac

Rewisp is an open-source memory tool for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 15 or later. It extracts text from moments on the screen and keeps that text locally, allowing users to search for something they previously read or ask what changed on a page. It also organizes activity, notices commitments, and prepares a daily digest of unfinished work.
A local vault can supply saved details to forms without submitting them, while a read-only MCP interface lets supported assistants search the memory. Capture exclusions, deletion controls, and editable memories help users manage what is retained. Answers can use an on-device or local model, with optional cloud model connections processing relevant prompts externally. Those model choices affect whether a question stays entirely on the Mac.
