Meet RimWorld

RimWorld is a science-fiction colony simulation driven by an AI storyteller. Survivors build a settlement while players organize food, construction, work, and defense. Colonists have individual needs, skills, relationships, moods, and injuries that affect the colony, and the storyteller introduces events such as raids, storms, or traders.

Different environments create different resource and survival problems. Caravans allow travel and trade, while relationships and personal histories produce consequences alongside the management decisions. Mods and separate expansions add further systems beyond the base game. A player can plan a settlement's work and supplies, then adapt when an event or a colonist changes the situation.
