Combine a native Mac terminal with visual tools for everyday development.
Run AI command-line agents with shared, searchable local session memory

scritty is a terminal emulator that captures conversations from supported AI command-line agents into a searchable local archive. It identifies the provider, records attributable prompts and terminal output, and indexes the result across sessions. Users can retrieve that history through a terminal panel or command-line interface, while agents can access the same store through MCP.
The app also assembles shared instructions alongside provider-specific rules before messages reach an agent. Optional browser access mirrors the running terminal and memory panel, with explicitly configured pairing for another device. Native versions are available for macOS, Windows, and Linux. scritty is useful when a project moves between several coding assistants and needs a common record of earlier work.
