Meet Shadow

Shadow is a Mac assistant for capturing meeting audio, visual context, and follow-up work. It operates alongside a call without joining as a separate participant, transcribes on the device, and saves meeting material as Markdown. Users can retain transcripts and results in local folders or workflows such as an Obsidian vault.

Reusable prompts called Skills turn captured context into notes, action items, summaries, or email drafts. Keyboard-triggered Action Skills can also combine voice instructions, selected text, and the active window for work outside meetings. Webhooks connect results to other tools. Transcription and storage are local by default, while enabled AI Skills send relevant context to model APIs when run; these cloud-assisted features can be disabled.
