Meet SkimGuard

SkimGuard helps stores check payment terminals for skimmers that transmit wireless signals. Staff use an Android phone near a pump, register, or other reader, then review the result before continuing their inspection route. Each check creates a time-stamped record of who performed it and what was found.

The service includes a management view, printable or downloadable inspection logs, staff access, and plans organized around the number of readers at a location. Larger sites can set up a route across their terminals. Its detection is limited to devices that transmit a signal, so a clear result does not rule out every kind of tampering or replace a visual inspection.
