Sortail

A floating toolbar for organizing messages in Apple Mail

Meet Sortail

Sortail is a Mac companion for Apple Mail that places a small toolbar above the mailbox. Users can move, delete, or archive a selected message, an entire conversation, or messages from one sender. Bulk actions show a count preview and confirmation where needed, helping users understand the scope before proceeding.

The toolbar reads the local mailbox list for quick folder selection and learns from filing history to suggest destinations. It appears while Mail is active and stays out of the way when users switch applications. Core single-message actions are free, with a paid plan for broader thread and sender actions and smart suggestions. Sortail supports macOS 13 and later.
