Standard Notes

Meet Standard Notes

Standard Notes is an encrypted place to write notes and store related files. Your collection synchronizes across devices, with an offline copy available when you are away from a connection. End-to-end encryption uses your keys to protect the content, and automatic backups provide another copy outside the main working collection. You can choose editors suited to the material, including plain text, Markdown, rich text, and code. That lets a journal, a technical reference, and a working document use different formats in the same app. The software is open source, so its applications can also be examined by people interested in how they handle data.
