SuperIsland
Bring live controls, notifications, and extensible modules to the Mac notch.
Meet SuperIsland
SuperIsland adds an expandable activity display around the top of a Mac screen. It brings together music controls, battery status, calendar reminders, weather, notifications, and file-sharing actions. Users can also see volume and brightness changes in the same area, keeping frequently checked information within a compact interface.
The application is free and open source, with downloads for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. A JavaScript extension SDK lets developers create additional modules using a declarative view system rendered through native SwiftUI components. This makes the display adaptable to personal workflows, such as a focus timer or a custom status panel.
