Decentralized storage and communication for Web3 applications

Swarm is an open-source network for storing and sharing data across independent nodes. It splits files into content-addressed chunks, so a file can be retrieved from the network using a reference derived from its contents. Developers can use it to host static websites, store application data, and build services that combine storage with messaging. Swarm Desktop, Beeport, and command-line tools provide different ways to upload content and manage prepaid storage through postage stamps. For application integrations, Bee nodes expose APIs and the bee-js library supplies JavaScript tooling. Feeds let applications publish updates behind a stable reference, while encryption and access-control tools help publishers decide who can read protected content.
