Meet Tamamon

Tamamon is a desktop pet for Mac and Windows that grows alongside a user's Claude Code activity. One active companion progresses from an egg through several stages as coding usage accumulates. Feeding, play, and care influence its eventual form, while the pet stays above other windows near the bottom of the workspace.

The application reads local usage information rather than source code or conversations. It can nudge the user when a coding session needs input, and its behavior changes with time and weather. Users can collect different species, decorate a small room, arrange objects, and generate a card showing their pet. The collection and growth systems add a playful routine around everyday development work.
