TapNoise adds a choice of keyboard sounds to a Mac, ranging from mechanical-keyboard styles to playful effects. Users switch sounds and volume from the menu bar, while a small desktop keycap character reacts to typing and displays speed. The app can become quiet automatically when another application uses the microphone.
