Meet Tinkerfont

Tinkerfont is a browser extension for inspecting and testing typography on live websites. Its context-menu inspector shows details such as font family, color, and contrast, while a page scan lists the fonts currently in use. Designers and developers can try alternatives from Bunny Fonts or upload their own font files.

Swaps can target a particular font family, the whole page, or selected elements such as a navigation area or table. Rules persist per hostname, letting users return to a site with the same experiment applied. A sharing workflow transfers rules and scoped areas to teammates through a link or JSON file. Tinkerfont is available for Chrome and Firefox and stores its settings locally.
