Progress through a series remains available when the viewer returns later.

Ratings, opinions, and shared lists add a social side to the record. Users can collect recommendations, follow another person's selections, or publish a list of favorites. A viewer can keep a personal watchlist across different services, check where a title is streaming, and record the episode or film afterward in the same viewing history.
