Meet Trama

Trama is an early-access Mac automation app that builds workflows from plain-language descriptions. A user describes a recurring task, reviews the generated steps, and enables the automation when it looks right. Proposed triggers include clipboard changes, screenshots, keyboard shortcuts, and schedules, with examples such as summarizing a pull request or extracting receipt information into a spreadsheet.

Automations are stored and run on the Mac, while steps involving connected services or an AI provider can send information outside the device. Users supply their own model credentials and choose which tools each workflow touches. The product is rolling out through a waitlist and lists support for both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
