Meet TurtleBar
TurtleBar is a Mac menu bar utility that estimates remaining battery time from measured power use. Users can display a countdown or expected empty time, then set a deadline such as the end of a lecture or flight. The app shows whether the current charge is likely to last and estimates what Low Power Mode could add.
Automation rules respond to remaining runtime, charge, idle time, deadlines, or active apps. Power charts and a list of demanding applications help explain changing estimates. Battery readings and usage patterns remain on the Mac. TurtleBar supports Intel and Apple-silicon MacBooks and is sold as a one-time purchase.
