Private messaging with account IDs instead of phone numbers
Private messaging without a phone-number identity

Vardum is a private messaging application that does not require a phone number or email address to establish an identity. It supports conversations, groups, calls, private notes, and vault features, with encryption applied on the device before messages are sent. The project publishes its source code and a claims register that explains the scope and limits of its security approach.
An iPhone public beta is available through TestFlight. It is intended for people who want a messaging identity separate from their phone number and a clearer account of how their communication is handled.
