Vela is an AI scheduling assistant for recruiting teams and executive search firms. Recruiters bring it into an email conversation or send a scheduling request through messaging, then specify the candidate, interview participants, and meeting requirements. Vela coordinates availability, proposes times in each person's time zone, and follows up when someone has not responded.

The assistant handles bookings, reminders, confirmations, and changes to existing interviews. When a candidate or panel member cancels, it can coordinate a replacement time and update calendar invitations. This keeps scheduling work connected to the conversations recruiters already use with clients and candidates, including interviews involving several people.
