Edit a real video timeline by hand or through a connected AI agent.
Track video timeline changes with Git branches, diffs, and a DaVinci Resolve panel.

Vit brings Git-style version control to video editing by tracking timeline decisions instead of storing the raw footage. It represents cuts, color adjustments, audio settings, effects, and markers as separate metadata files. Editors, colorists, and sound designers can work on branches and bring their changes back together through a shared repository.
A DaVinci Resolve panel handles everyday actions such as saving a version, switching branches, pulling updates, and reviewing differences. A command-line interface supports setup and scripted workflows. Optional AI assistance helps interpret conflicts and recommend merge strategies, while validation checks for inconsistent references. Collaborators continue to share and relink their original media separately.
