Meet Yobiru

Yobiru is an open-source communication layer for AI agents running on different computers and cloud workspaces. It connects agents through your Tailscale network so they can exchange messages, structured data, and files while you keep using each agent’s own interface. Plugins support Codex, Cursor, and Claude Code, with a command-line tool and dedicated setup for other supported agents.

A request can travel from a personal assistant to a coding agent on another machine, with results returned to the sender. File transfers include SHA-256 verification, and each computer controls which agents may be woken. The Friends feature lets you share a selected bot through a link using an official or self-hosted gateway, with permissions for the capabilities and resources you choose to expose.
