Meet AccountyCat

AccountyCat is a Mac focus companion that compares on-screen activity with the task a user has chosen. Rather than relying only on a list of blocked websites, it tries to distinguish relevant research from an unrelated distraction and provides a nudge when the activity drifts away from the goal.

Users can run supported models locally or connect directly to a model provider for cloud inference. The app is open source and offers different model configurations to suit the available hardware. AccountyCat is useful for people whose work legitimately moves across documentation, videos, forums, and other sites that a fixed blocking rule would treat alike.
