Shrine

Watch coding agents furnish a small room in your Mac notch

Website

Meet Shrine

Shrine turns coding-agent activity into a small pixel-art room in your Mac’s notch. Supported agent sessions appear as spirits, and completed work adds furnishings and other details to the room. It offers a playful way to notice which sessions are active without continually switching among terminal windows.

The application reads the session transcripts already stored on your Mac, and its optional MCP helper lets an agent look around the room through read-only tools. Rooms and the application are free, with no account required for local use. Over time, the room reflects your work through collected furniture, plants, and pets, making a practical status view feel more like a desktop companion.
