Meet Alfred

Alfred puts Mac searches and actions behind a keyboard shortcut. Open the launcher to find an application or file, search the web, calculate something, or run a command. Keywords and hotkeys can be tailored to the resources you use often, and file previews help you check a result before opening it.

The optional Powerpack adds clipboard history, reusable text snippets, and workflows that link a trigger with a series of actions. A workflow can process text, open resources, or connect with another service; you can build one or import community work. Clipboard search also lets you find and paste something copied earlier.
