Meet Atlan

Atlan collects metadata and business context from data platforms, analytical tools, and other systems into an Enterprise Data Graph. Catalogs, lineage, quality information, and glossary terms explain what an asset represents and how it relates to other data. A data marketplace helps people discover material with that context attached.

Context agents draft descriptions and connect terms using sources such as query history and pipeline code. Domain experts can resolve conflicts, annotate details, and review the material before it is supplied to downstream tools. Context Engineering Studio supports preparation and testing, while the Context Lakehouse stores context in open formats. APIs, SQL, and MCP make reviewed context available elsewhere.
