Atomic organizes notes, articles, and web clips into a connected knowledge graph. Saved items receive tags and semantic embeddings, allowing users to search by meaning rather than remembering an exact phrase. A spatial canvas shows relationships between ideas, while chat answers and generated wiki articles link back to their source notes.

Selecting a tag can produce a synthesized article from the material underneath it, and a daily briefing summarizes new additions. The system runs as a desktop application or through a server shared by multiple clients, with self-hosted and managed cloud options. MCP access lets compatible agents work with the same collection.
